4. What one thing would your muse change about themselves?
His consistent inability to keep a job. It’s getting really annoying.
9. What are the reasons for their profession? Are the REAL reasons different than what they TELL others?
Danny’s actual paying jobs are to get money, but more importantly to retain some sense of human self-sufficiency. He feels really imbalanced between his lives because the human side of things are only getting by on the success of his loved ones, and it bothers him.
His ‘job’ as Phantom is to keep the town safe, yes, but the hidden reason is also because he feels a sense of territorial pride when the town functions on the spectral level, and that it’s his contributions that make it do so.
Danny will say his dream job in astronautics and physics is because he loves everything to do with space, but the hidden reason is because space feels like home on a spiritual level. And he’s homesick.
10. Where do they see themselves in five years?
Good question. Danny has a really hard time imagining himself at age 30, and is a bit scared that he’ll be right where he is – chronically jobless and under constant suspicion. But hopefully the town will be okay, and people will understand ghosts better. He’s still a bit hesitant to picture where Vlad and Plas fit in, though he’s hopeful.
