The Amazon was one of the most inspiring and gorgeous natural places I have ever been to. The Amazon covers almost 40% of South America and is about the same size as the United States (minus Alaska and Hawaii). It runs through 8 countries but is primarily in Brazil. There are about 2500 different Animal special that live in the Amazon Basin. In 2019 I was able to visit the Ecuadorian Amazon and stay at a lodge in the middle of the Amazon that was only accessible by boat. It was the coolest experience and so tranquil. I could definitely self-isolate there.
