A song for worriers.
(Ed Boxall) This track will make you smile...a track about moments of wonder and surprise, the things that make you go ‘Oh My’
artist feature 001
I’ve decided to start an artist feature series because it will help me to have a catalogue of inspiration that I can look back to in the future whenever I’m stuck in an artist block. It’s also because I have way too many tabs open and it’s definitely not good for the health of my laptop. Only in this window I have 18 tabs (and I still have 3 other windows). Yup. I’m a tab hoarder. It’s mostly because I don’t want to forget the names of artists, articles and ideas - but it’s probably better to keep it a little more organized ;)
ED BOXALL
Ed Boxall is an artist, writer and creative educator living in Hastings, England. I first came across him as I was looking for printmaking inspiration for my independent project this semester. I wanted to find an artist who used printmaking to illustrate children’s storybooks. Boxall has experience in small scale book publishing, poetry, storytelling and education. He creates handmade prints using woodblocks, lino and mono printing.
I like his linocut prints best because they are playful, but also thoughtful. Click here if you’d like to see more of his work.
