I love that the Mets are all wearing a number 7 on their jerseys. That's Ed Kranepool's number. He was an original Mets player. He was part of the amazing Mets and the really amazing Mets who won the World Series in 1969!! He played his entire 18 year career with the NY Mets. That's a long time. I remember going to Shea Stadium as a kid and watching him play. I lived close enough to ride my bike there. He was very good. I'm happy that they're honoring him. RIP, Ed!! Thank you for all the great baseball that you gave us!! 😁😍🙏🏼
