Criminal Case Character Headcanons by Case: Grimsborough - Death by Crucifixion
I always forget about this case… It just felt so much like a filler case that it’s never stood out to me.
Gordon Michelli: If it wasn’t obvious, he was an atheist
Dr. Bishop: He used to attend the church that Gordon Michelli demolished. He attended every week until it was decommissioned and deconsecrated. Despite the church being properly closed and deconsecrated, Bishop was devastated when he learned it was going to be destroyed, even though restoring it was impossible due to its dilapidated condition
Frank Janovski: Dr. Bishop’s claims about his drinking on the job weren’t false; Frank always has a flask of his favourite whiskey on him
Ed Miller: He is a devoted Christian. He attends Sunday service every week and volunteers at some of his church’s events
Nikolay Woloch: Nikolay and his family left Grimsborough a few months after his son was born. Nikolay and his wife wanted their son to grow up in a better city with a lower murder rate, and so they left Grimsborough for a better life elsewhere
Linda Lovara: She is actually a witch. Most people assume her “crazy talk” is just her having gone senile in her old age, and while there is some senility, it's not as much as humans believe. Linda just uses their assumptions to her advantage to hide her magic
