I've been wanting to draw Lucy for so long and thought it was a good idea to put her next to my reprogrammed commando droid OC, Luci (BX-LU-C117). Instead of gambling or getting drunk on oil, Luci got put to bake and serve Nevarro Nummies.

Revamping a character i made 7 years ago

Back then I did not do my research properly and misrepresented 2 mythical creatures from native folklore.

With the help of @razzlefrazzum ,meet the BPRD‘s new doctor, Jonah Wagamese the Wechuge.

Jonah is Ojibwe from the deer clan. Soon after getting his doctorate, he got into an altercation where emotions were running high… causing him to commit a great taboo that caught the attention of the Deer Spirit. As punishment, the spirit possessed him to turn into a wechuge.

This could have been the end for Jonah. Lucky, the creature’s rampage caught the attention of the bureau of paranormal research and defense, who dispatched Hellboy to either subdue or kill the creature. Hellboy had the chance to talk to a medicine man who gave him a medecin pouch to, hopefully, weaken the spirit’s connection enough to overpower it. After an intense fight, Hellboy managed to tie the pouch around its neck. The wechuge turned back into a very confused and exhausted doctor.

Even though Jonah is back to himself, thanks to the pouch, he is still tied to the Deer spirit. If the pouch were to be taken off his neck, the wechuge would immediately burst out of him.

He’s been taken into the bureau’s custody to be studied and hopefully fine a cure. In the meantime Jonah became a new agent and a medic and has to deal with a spiritual roommate only he can hear and see.

Going back on zabraks having 2 hearts

Since “Maul: lockdown” I’ve always wondered how his heart beat sounded like and… I think we can hear it in the show.

In episode 8, When Maul is remembering his time as an insane spider up to Savage’s final breath. We can hear a thumping that is like to a heart beat but not quite. (Sounds like it’s galloping)

I am hoping it’s an actual detail because this has been haunting me for years. All I wanna know now is the anatomy of the organs

Zabraks have 2 hearts.

In “Maul lockdown” ,where Maul was passing as a prisoner in a superjail, each prisoners had a bomb or something surgically implanted on their hearts so of they try to rebel… boom (I haven’t read the book in along time, bear with me)

They implanted Maul with 2 bombs

Because one wouldn’t be enough to kill him.

Ergo, in an au where… let’s say Spybot grabs Scorn mid air, and gets immediately appropriate care, he’ll be right as rain and Icarus and Maul would be relieved

During their nocturnal expedition, they stumble upon an underground fighting club. Itching to blow out some steam with an opportunity to get extra credits, the zabraks could not refuse and enter the place.

Let just say… after a few rounds Scorn met a new friend.

Headcanon and Maul Shadow lord episode 1 spoilers

Icarus has face scaring, and like this namesake, they’re burn related. Either by fire or magik. Scorn witnessed it and possibly took care of his injuries.

So when Vario survived the crash, jumped and roasted their vehicle with a flame thrower, the mandos and the zabrack bros luckily avoided serious injuries.

But… Scorn still saw his brother in the spray of fire.

In that instant, it wasn’t about Maul’s revenge on his betrayers anymore

New year new mothman ! Meet LA’s new dispatcher Manny MacMann ! A totally normal bug hybrid and is definitely not part of cryptic species capable of predicting any catastrophes.

“Manny” was originally the cause of a call to SDN. Mistaken as a fear-mongering monster causing mayhem in the night. He got shot by a scared civilian before a hero could attend the scene. Losing an eye and an antenna.

Despite being hurt, Manny stayed conscious enough to reveal his true intent. Warning the people about an upcoming life threatening storm.

Thanks to his premonitions, SDN took the necessary precautions to protect the citizens without massive casualties.

SDN took responsibility for his recovery, anonymity and manage to convince the creature to stay a little longer… just in case a similar tragedy reappears.

‘Manny’ never left and ended up being Galen’s responsibility.
