Behind you, Eddie huffed a soft laugh. "Might've come out the gate a little too strong there, Volt," he teased. Volt hummed thoughtfully. "Perhaps." Carefully, he pulled out of you, drawing a soft whine from your throat. For a moment, he regarded his fingers covered in your slick. "But I'm sure we can find some way to pass the time until they come back down to Earth a little more," he mused, soft grin turning sharp as he moved his attention up to Eddie, "Can't we?" Reaching his hand out to him, he commanded, "Open up." Eddie, of course, was all too eager to obey that particular order. He opened his mouth at once for Volt to settle his fingers—still warm from being inside you—on his tongue.

The funny thing is. I genuinely dont think eddie "made" volt. I think it was more like, how someone else put it, a fish living in coral. They just. Have no fucking idea because volt didnt like. Exist as a person but also like. He had all the potential to be a person. He existed, he just needed to be shoved out of a stressed af man on the verge of death.

But like. "Made" always felt like the wrong word to me BUT i love the fact that they think thats what happened. Eddie made volt. Thats their interpretation of events. And I think thats both poetic, romantic, insane and co dependent af. I love the Frankenstein angle people give these two, its insanely fitting and probs a little canonically intentional.

Like no you weren't a pre existing element that gained sentience though me, you are my Eve to my Adam and I made you from my RIB.

(They arent that weird or poetic about it but like. Thats more how they view it then like. Oh I had another person inside me. Hi. Welcome to the objects are people universe.)

Like i can see how a man with 0 memories before Eddie and a tired af chronically ill man who both 100% fell in love at first sight came up with that conclusion.

Idk just my interpretation of events. I like thinking of characters not being 100% right all the time and their explanations of stressful events could be warped from emotions and how that experience felt to them.

my MAIN Eddie and Volt HC: Volt's coat was originally Eddie's but it flew off when he popped Volt out. like this stunning art, i see him coming out of the back, very suddenly and the coat got snagged off.

and Eddie let him keep it because. gay. I don't know, it feels like Eddie's jacket to me and like. The whole themes of them being co dependent and the faulty wire. volt took Eddie's last bit of like. normality physically despite being the best thing Eddie has in his life.

also the coat is the doors of the fuse box but. you would think Eddie would have the doors since he's more the fusebox then Volt is.
