On this day Badejo was born. He played the Xenomorph alongside stuntman Eddie Powell in Alien (1979). At a massive 6ft 10 inches tall and with a slender frame, Badejo was ideally cast after a member of the film crew met him in a bar. Tragically, he died of sickle cell anemia in December of 1992.
