just read your ask about running away and can I just say kudos to you for going through all of that and still coming out okay! I ran away from home at 17 (ran away and came back periodically starting at about age 12 when we still lived in NYC) and at age 20 I'm still constantly the one warning my younger friends and even friends my own age to be careful leaving home on such abrupt turns simply because of just how dangerous/frustrating it can be >_<
Yeah its so hard to explain to most people just how stressful it can be. Sure, it's awesome to kinda have your own rules like going out whenever you want, staying out as late as you want, eating whatever you want whenever you want, etc etc. But the rest is so shitty hahah I hate being an adult.
