" L" Edelweiss " Leontopodium alpinum, appelé aussi pied-de-lion, étoile d'argent, immortelle des neiges ou étoile des glaciers, est la fleur emblématique de montagne qui tient son nom de l'allemand : edel (noble) et weiss (blanc). La Suisse l'a pratiquement adoptée comme emblème national. Originaire de Sibérie, Leontopodium alpinum est arrivé en Europe lors des périodes glaciaires du quaternaire. On trouve la plante dans les Alpes, mais aussi dans les Pyrénées, les Carpates et les Balkans. Extraordinaire Nature 🌳

Wakana is too precious for this world. It improves my mood so much to just watch her having this much fun with singing and doing her nails. Also, she is so freaking good at this gel-nail-thingy. This kinda makes me want to try it too.  It’s amazing how she manages to sing and paint her nails at the same time (although she admits it’s super hard).

Hiking adventure!

Strada delle 52 gallerie, Monte Pasubio

(Road of 52 tunnels, Mount Pasubio)

This hiking trail is full of old tunnels dug by Italian alpini (alpine) soldiers during WW1 to create a military road necessary to maintain the high ground in the Dolomites.

..and I saw Edelweißen! Edelweiße?? Not sure what the plural is.. I was a bit surprised to find them, as it is just a tad early in the season!
