It took a second for the princess to understand what the other was implying. āOh, no.ā she chuckled, the slightest of smiles on her lips, āItās nothing like that. I just didnāt get here until a moment ago and the first movie was almost over.ā Though when sheād done a quick sweep of the audience she had thought she spotted a certain good-looking royal who might have fallen into the category of distracting. āI just thought it would be a lot smarter to see how scary these movies would be before I subjected myself to one. You know, the real world is already so scary, why watch more of that kind of thing?āĀ
Bee didn't try to hinder her disappointment at the princess' words. "Well, that's too bad," she sighed. "But the night is young, and there's still plenty of time for it to change," the maid announced with the same sort of bright smile a master of ceremony would employ. "Much like you, I just arrived. And I was hoping someone would fill me in on what's already happened. Movie or otherwise," Bee shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know. I suppose I've always found them oddly entertaining. Unless there are porcelain dolls involved," Bee shuddered at the thought. Ever since the one her siblings gave her when she was young, porcelain dolls had been involved in some of her most vivid nightmares.
