Physical disability/disadvantage
While it takes a lot for her to talk about it, Kasumi has suffered from her younger recklessness. Some of it has been covered by cybernetic work, but unfortunately, implants aren’t always perfect. Just as well, she hasn’t been able to cover everything with it.
Her most sensitive areas are probably in her right hip, which suffered extensive damage in the same incident that had severely damaged her eyes. While fully recovered, the hip has a higher tendency to break.
As the subject to her eyes, those have been saved by heavy cybernetic repair. However, they occasionally have problems with light sensitivity, and as mentioned before, can fail on occasion.
Kasumi has actually spent quite a bit of time studying batarian culture and the language— as much as a human can anyway. Much of this has to do with how she grew up with many of the constants in her life having been her mother’s work associates, who were, rather often, batarian.
It’s probably one of the few things in her childhood that she keeps, though she’ll rarely talk about it.
Something or someone she downright hates
Despite her work and regularity in shafting people, she actually doesn’t really hate a whole lot of things or people, but as soon as hurting children or slavery is involved, things become very, very different.
Whether personal ties or just a philosophical violation, Kasumi can be outright severe when it comes to finding these sorts of operations.
She’s also taken a habit of being a little harsher when it comes to things that might harm the war effort. While she understands the idea of self-preservation at this time, it’s hard for her to consolidate what she knows and what other people don’t.
