Earth Day 2022: Invest in our Planet

Being an INFP, I have always loved plants. Not like a biologist loves plants, but in a kind way a human loves pets. I used to throw seeds everywhere in attempts for them to grow. Their presence in the house feels comforting. It is pleasing to see the green color of the leaves. The smell of water sprayed on soil enriches my senses.

A few years back, the temperatures in the city where I used to live were remarkably low. In summer, this year, they are 40 degree Celsius. Humans are fucking this planet into a coma. To reduce this, I plant more plants in my house. I cannot change the actions of other human beings. But I hope that other humans should feel the same and do their part.

Recently, I found in Microsoft Edge browser, on the Bing Weather page, a place where you can play games to plant a tree in Kenya as a part of the Eden Reforestation Project. By playing the game, I planted one tree. I hope this helps more. I even stopped making more NFTs, since they have a very large carbon footprint. I switch off unnecessary electrical appliances and save water and other resources when I can.

I hope you do more to save our planet. Not for us, but the future generations. Our forefathers' generations didn't give a damn and made a mess for us to clean up. It's our job to NOT pass that responsibility on the next generation.
