LONG LIVE THE MAD KING.
Would Vanderbilt be a good place to either minor or major in Creative Writing? I'm considering applying to VU this fall, but would like to know if it's good for this specific subject!
Definitely! Vanderbilt has a great focus on English. On Commons, for example, they have MFA candidates that serve as Writers-In-Residence. Bobby was in a class called the Psychology of Popular Teen Fiction, and his TA has written a young adult novel that is published and she is a student at Vanderbilt. My writer-in-residence, the illustrious Edgar Kunz, hosted a poetry slam workshop for my house. There’s a book club at the Dean of the Commons house too! Furthermore, there is a Writing Studio, with people there to help you every step of the writing process. The English major website is here . Check it out and see if it’s right for you! Good luck with your applications!
Is it wierd that I got a small crush on Edgar von Snigelslem? o_o
