Edge is a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Studies at University of the Philippines.
He started in music at the age of 4. In fact, Edge comes from a clan of singers from his grandmother down to her aunt's.
I believe his father - whose a christian singer-songwriter is the first person who taught him how to sing.
Edge is a choir member during his high school days. In college, he was part of UP Vocal Ensemble.
Edge is comfortable singing soul and ballads. He can also sing selected mid-tempo to fast songs.
Edge stated that in every song he sings, he ensures that the message of the song reaches to the listeners. That's the reason why he's also a fan of artist who shows so much emotion in their vocal style.
Mariah Carey, Jay-R, and Stevie Wonder are some of his musical influences.
He's one of the few male singers who can register a nice whistle-tone.
