I'm Myke, from Davao City. I just love music so much that i can't sleep and attend to things without listening to it. I'm also a songwriter but not a singer.. This blog aims to promote unsigned and indie artists from all over the world. However, all postings will be limited only to artist who have soundcloud and youtube acount! Name: Angela Luz Biando

Birthdate: November 12

Angela's mother gave birth at 6pm. The time where Catholic's prayed the Angelus. Angela Luz was named after the prayer activity.

She earned her degree at Our LAdy of Fatima University where she took up BS Nursing. She currently works as a NICU nurse.

She started singing when she was a child. she used to sing during family gatherings. Her mom told her that she's singing while she's asleep.

Angel's musical inspirations where Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Sitti, Kyla and many others but mostly Opm artists.

She can't play any musical instruments but she has a basic knowledge with piano and guitar.

Angel usually do covers, especially the songs of MYMP. she like acoustic songs because it makes her feel relax.

She do some home recording and studio recordings with the great producers like June Guzman and Rey Despuig.

Angel's cover were accompanied by superb istrumentalist like Adriel Aldovino, Cholo Ortiz and Alec Padua.

Name: Iko Mortensen Tan

Birthdate: February 2

Iko is a degree holder of Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering at First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities.

Iko didn't undergo any formal training or lessons in music. His musical influences are his family. They have this old-school karaoke where he sings along with the multiplex cassette tapes which his pop collected. He sings whatever he wants.

Aside from his vocal chords, he can play some musical instruments like guitar and keyboard. Iko can sing well with his low key and high register. He was able to achieve those higher notes after quitting smoking.

Iko drinks cold water each time he's nervous and it helps him to sing better.

His originality was very evident in his covers and I can say that he sings from the heart.

He is a versatile singer.  He can sing in different genre.

Music has been with him since he was a kid.

One thing that's very common to every musician is that plugged headset.

Name: Brian Kelvin Pineda

Birthdate: November 23

Brian is a singer, stage actor, writer and director.

He is a La Sallistang Atenista. He completed his school at La Salle and presently a sophomore student at Ateneo de Manila University taking up Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

He's a trained musical theater actor having worked under Fritz Ynfante. Aside from being a musical theater actor, Bry is also a part of multiple amateur productions.

In addition, Bry is a member of Ateneo Blue Repertory - the premier Musical Theater Organization and also, Ateneo Musician's Pool where they do gigs in bars.

He is a graduate of Center for Pop Music.

He can't play any instruments but he can change the arrangement of the song so it would fit his style.

Name: Arvin John Supleo

Birthdate: October 3

Bok took up Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at Mapua Institute of Technology.

He started in music when he was in 4th grade. Bok attended voice lessons at Voice Academy of the Philippines.

For the record, he joined 2 singing contests and with that he was always asked to perform in every school activity.

Bok stopped singing when he was in high school and pursued his other passion which is dancing.

In college, he started singing again which resorted to making of cover songs in different genre. Bok love to see people's comments upon uploading the songs in SoundCloud.

He considers those people who surrounded him as his musical inspiration.

Bok loves the music of Richard Poon and Michael Buble. He's into jazz and rnb songs.

The concert will be on DECEMBER 6 & 7 at SDA Theater, De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde. The show will start at 7PM.

Name: Mark Alexander Collado

Birthdate: November 17

Mark is an accountancy graduate at Fort Hays State University, Hays, Kansas, USA.

Before he could read, he started singing at the tender age of 2. Mark was always asked to sing songs of Whitney Houston like The greatest love of all, Run to you and I will always love you. He also joined singing competitions in school.

Mark's musicality was diverse. He can sing songs may it be in Alternative, Acoustic, Ballad, Broadway, Disney, Opm, Pop and RnB. I consider him as a total package since he can sing in any genre, slow or fast songs.

Mark was mostly inspired by broadway artist like Kristin Chenoweth, Megan Hilty, Colm Wilkinson and Norbert Leo Butz. Anything that was written by Stephen Sondheim is probably a musical inspiration to him.

On the other side he also listens to the likes of Justin Timberlake, Beyonce and Ellie Goulding.

Mark stated that he sing a lot of songs from musicals because he like the challenge of conveying a story from a song. He knows that he has done a right thing when he feels that he was connected to the audience and told the story, and showed the right emotion for the song.

Name: Edge Lacorte

Edge is a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Studies at University of the Philippines.

He started in music at the age of 4. In fact, Edge comes from a clan of singers from his grandmother down to her aunt's.

I believe his father - whose a christian singer-songwriter is the first person who taught him how to sing.

Edge is a choir member during his high school days. In college, he was part of UP Vocal Ensemble.

Edge is comfortable singing soul and ballads. He can also sing selected mid-tempo to fast songs.

Edge stated that in every song he sings, he ensures that the message of the song reaches to the listeners. That's the reason why he's also a fan of artist who shows so much emotion in their vocal style.

Mariah Carey, Jay-R, and Stevie Wonder are some of his musical influences.

He's one of the few male singers who can register a nice whistle-tone.

Name: Redmond Abram Lat

Birthdate: September 11

Red took up Nursing at University of Perpetual Help - Dalta System.

He started in music by joining singing contest at the age of 7. At 14, he was offered by Viva Records as Recording Artist but Red's father won't allow him to grab the opportunity so he can focus in his studies.

Since Red has a lot of frustration, he finds outlets to express his feelings by joining singing contest. Eat Bulaga was his first tv exposure. Not until he reached the age of 18, he has lots of gigs. Red and his group became the front act of Nina. 

Red was also a talent of Center for Pop Music Philippines.

He listed Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Boys II Men and Usher as his musical inspiration.

Redmond sings in any genre but he prefers Soul RnB.

Personally, I have hesitation in accepting Red's friend request. With some common friends and by reading his wall, I can sense his sincerity, so I approved his request.

Now, I can say that you're lucky enough if you happen to be friends with this man. Red is very talented yet down-to-earth and simple. Despite what he has, he's still grounded, doing everything for his family.

Jan is currently taking up Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Studies at University of the Philippines.

He discovered his passion for music way back in high school when he joined the school choir and also joined 3 other theater productions to boost his confidence.

Jan stated that he plays ukulele and guitar but not a PRO at those instruments.

He enlisted Christian Bautista, One Republic, Asher Book and South Border as his biggest musical influences.

Personally, I discovered Jan just by searching random songs. He is an amateur singer but he sounded so good. He's just so good so I included him in my ipod playlist.

He's a Physical Therapy Intern from De La Salle Health Sciences Institute.

Name: Kennard Eleazar Faraon

Kennard is a guitarist, singer-songwriter, producer and an arranger.

He is a graduate of STI College.

Ken started his career in the music industry wayback in 2005, when he happens to be the guitarist of the band. Later in his career, he started a solo project - an electro pop which is his music today, a mixed of electro and acoustic.

So far, he's a 2 time finalist of the Prestigious Songwiting in the Philippines which is the PHILIPPINE POPULAR MUSIC FESIVAL. His two entries are Slow Dancing - interpreted by Nyoy Volante and Time Machine - interpreted by Six Part Invention.

Jico has a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Communication at Lyceum of the Philippines.

He started joining singing contest at 2nd grade but it was not yet his time, so he loses.

Jico joined the junior choir in their area where they sing in Flores de Mayo and in burial.

He auditioned for the glee club and he became part of it during his elementary, but before his elementary days will end, he left the club. That's the time where he learned to play bamboo flute.

During high school, he joined again the glee club, just to get exempted from the PEHM class.

When Jico was in college, he auditioned for a national singing contest. When the organizer contacted him 'coz he passed the audition, that's the time his phone was lost. Another opportunity vanished.

Name: Joey Guerrero Birthdate: December 10 Joey is a graduate of Business Management at San Sebastian College. Went to Los Angeles and studied Nursing. Today, he was employed at American Red Cross.

He started singing when he was in 6th grade.

Then in college, he got accepted in an organization with talent in singing and dancing. In 2003, Joey was disappointed that he was not able to try to audition for reality singing contest because he was already residing in the United States. Joey loves music.
