i would like your assistance on the newest edit i’m working on! i need 33 short short clips to make up the meat of the edit and i thought maybe instead of going through every game myself this time, id ask the community for some help.
TELL ME YOUR FAVORITE KAZUMAJI CLIPS/MOMENTS!!!
i don’t need 33 suggestions exactly (tho depending on how much attention this gets i will or won’t even get that many anyway); this is really just for inspo more than anything lol but i Will definitely include whatever is suggested!!
just like describe the scene and tell me which game it’s from (chances are i’ll probably remember based on description but just in case i get a case of the dumbs 😭)
As the title says, I've been putting together a little resource drive! While it is mostly centered around Kuro, I also have a few folders set up for generalized gif, video, and photo editing as well!
As time goes on I'll add more and more to the drive, but if anyone has any resources that they think I should add/link to, then please send me an ask about it. Currently the folder includes:
Tutorials, program recommendations, and places to find content for gif, photo, or video edit making. Mostly basic info and resources you could use for any fandom!
Various resources on both the canon of Kuroshitsuji as well as the everyday like of Victorian era Britain. Includes both official sources and fan-made posts!
Screenshots and interesting information on various locations as well as certain props and things that I think stand out!
This is a WIP as I make my way through reading the manga, if you have manga caps to add please feel free to send me them
Images of characters or other fandom content with a transparent background, usually for use in edits and things.
Character guide pages and reference sheets from Yana and Kuro team! If you see any more official refs floating around then i would appreciate the link to them~

I will be updating this as time goes along but I think it's currently at a place right now that I can make it public :) I've also moved the Black Label Line stickers folder within here as well, so you can get the emoticons Yana made!
So my photoshop subscription expired but I still want to make gifs and edits. What does everyone else use? Should I just stick to photoshop or are the other better programs that you guys preferr? I would love to be able to make edits of End Game so recommendations would be appreciated as soon as possible!!
I have read/watched alot on this subject in order to make up my own mind.
JPG: Smaller file size so they load quicker on the blog/dash. When it comes to publishing edits/stills/graphics to tumblr at the small dimensions we use, I think .JPG is perfect.
PNG: Bigger file size so it takes longer to load on the blog/dash. .PNG is used for large Hi-Res images, transparent images, printing, HD backgrounds ect.
In this video he explains the tech differences between the save settings and this is a good short video on the subject also.
How to Save a High Quality JPG Using Photoshop:
File>save for web>
Choose the preset below: (for quick use mine is saved as HQ JPG)
And adjust the settings like below:
Save your edit to a folder that you can easily upload to tumblr from. I make folders for mine, by season, episode or graphic name.
Now it’s time to upload to your tumblr blog, I always save to my drafts first:
You might see things from this view that you will want to change to make your post work better as a whole. It might be a slight colour balance adjustment or making it brighter, this can be tedious but worth it.
Use the correct tags for your post to get it noticed.
I created SPN Conversations in Photosets because I wanted more interaction with people who had their own feelings and thoughts about the show— not fanon or "the good SPN that lives in our heads," but the canon plots, aesthetics, lore, themes, and characters.
(Of course, this comes with the caveat that, even if we reject fanon, we won't always respond the same way to canon. For example, while it's fanon that John abandons Dean without food money in "Bad Boys," it's canon that he leaves a 16-year-old poker enthusiast to rule the roost for two weeks. Is that a reasonable demand for budget management from someone of driving age, or an unreasonable demand for Dean to parent Sam? YMMV.)
I'm interested in the line from scripture that gets stuck in your head every time Sam or Dean is resurrected. The line from the show that you think sums it all up better than anything else. The visuals that repeat themselves, and the ones that are perfect for their own, very specific scenes.
And I hope that some of you are interested in the takes that interest me. I built a S4 GIFset around a quote from Matthew Stover's Revenge of the Sith novelization. What SPN images would you hang on that same quote? I also built a GIFset around an Eric Kripke quote about valuing personal relationships above the stakes that we often treat as bigger. Would you pick a different Kripke quote to define the show, and what moments would you use to illustrate it?
SPN Conversations in Photosets is meant to work as an archive of prompts, but also as an ongoing process. You can post your own visual meme and see how people respond, or treat one of mine as a prompt. If you're unsure how to do that, there are several posts on basic editing. If you don't have the time or energy to learn how to screenshot a DVD or color GIFs, then there are hundreds of PNGs and GIFs, made by me, that you can start combining in creative ways. Make a collage. Make a point. Make your point.
Note: You have to apply to join, because otherwise, I would wind up with a bunch of bots on my site. Empty blogs will not be accepted. You don't have to have any history as a fandom editor, but you do have to have something (whether that's your own meta, reblogged GIFsets, or what-have-you) that indicates you are a real person with real interests outside of pirated porn and improbable investment opportunities. No bots, no malware, no attempts to convince anyone that you're a Nigerian prince.
if any edit makers/graphic makers follow me, where should i start learning to do such a thing without paying for a specialized software before i know if i enjoy the process? I don't want to necessarily make gifs or videos, but poster-like graphics or something might be fun!
