Gif/edit tumblr shenanigans that get an automatic pass/post block from me, with very few exceptions, even if I like the movie/show/etc it’s from:

Making the post caption anything but black, especially the shit where the first few letters are faded out so that I can’t read them against the white text box background

Anything where the coloring has been messed with excessively/the coloring is weird/every image in the set has been color washed to match a specific color theme/to the point where it’s hard to make out what the gif/edit is about

anything whited out or darkened nearly to the point of invisibility, seriously why would you expect people to be interested in that shit who aren’t already art snobs who are convinced that a blank white canvas or a banana duct-taped to a wall is somehow art
