People said my image looked softer and I often heard that I was “pretty”. When women hear that they are “pretty”, they are able to find their self-confidence. But I like hearing ‘you are appealing’ more than ‘pretty’. You want to look at an appealing woman more than once. I want to be a woman with my own colors, my own appeals.

GIRLS’ GENERATION, HYOYEON • #HolidayNight

Time has really passed by quickly. Watching all of the stage videos we’ve done, we thought we’ve done so many stages. Doing a solo stage after doing Girls’ Generation stages for 10 years is very different. It’s definite that because SNSD existed, Hyoyeon existed too. It gave us confidence to show our own colours even more? In the past, I tried to be optimistic on purpose but now I'm happy.
