I absolutely love it to wear him and bring him to life! Even tho just a handful of people knows him in my homeland... But I turned their attention to watch the animated movies too, since they are canon to the games! 😌🥰

Based on @orangesandpeaches: "We all know how Dark Dan is created, Danny's ghost half fused himself into Vladdie's ghost half Plasmius and created Dark Dan, he then killed his human half Danny and left Vlad alive. Then that means there's 2 Dannys now, dead human half Danny and Dark Dan."

a.k.a. what if by Danny's end there was a ghost too? I inserted it to the moment when Danny returned to his time, this fic plays in the future after that scene

Return of the Hiatus

Hey all, just an update. I don’t really know what’s going on with me right now but I’ve been too exhausted to work on Blood & Seawater. I’m going to the doctor soon to make sure everything is on the up and up, so hopefully I’ll be able to get back to work soon.

I want to thank my lovely Patron who surprised me recently and reminded me that I’m missed. You are an angel and I am so grateful to have you.

As a token of my love and appreciation, I’m dropping a link for the newly edited first chapter of How Dragons Fall in Love. 

Yes, there are plot changes. A lot of things need to be tweaked and rework to have my story make sense when I started Dragons I hadn’t planned on the narrative going this long. 

I’m also changing the Zutara portion of the story and cutting the smut. I was desperate for readers and jammed that bit in there for attention, which I think ruined my intentions. I’m still desperate but I really want this story to be as close to my dream as possible.

What this means for you is that the writing should be tighter and less horribly paced. 

I went to a writer’s conference and everything, just to bring you the goods!

Lipstick marks on cocktail napkins in dingy pubs, like rub-on-tattoos. I think about clawing my name or some poem on the toilet doors, but I’m not committing to bricks and wood. Even now. Hearts grow old like cities; some roads are so worn  it’s hard not to retrace the steps of old lovers, without even knowing it. Layers, and layers of graffiti. Of lipstick applications on cocktail napkins. I try to be beautiful here, it’s all I’m good for, it’s all the city eats.     But you. Gods, you know the back alleyways of this heart like a cat. I feel you rubbing up against the screwed up rain gutters. You lean up against the wall of all the empty buildings I’ve not had the heart to tear down. The permanence of claw marks on old doorways here leaves something to be desired. This city up the stakes of living without us noticing, the journey from mine to yours eats more each time. But for now I’m putting on more lipstick waiting for you, we’ll walk familiar streets, ignoring the history of this place.

Turns out I have postcard hands, the way you always pick them up when you’re out of town. I’ll write wish you were here down your hip bones with my nails so you’ll read it the next time you shower. I’m here for the souvenirs, the ones I run my fingertips over when you’re not looking. The slightly gaudy ones we only show certain friends. We’re all good times and easy breathing here, in the in between cities. But you kiss like a train station, all platform goodbyes every minute of the day, every time your mouth is on me I feel like I’m leaving, or coming home.
