(BPRD spoilers!) Okay I know I’ve made it perfectly clear I love Abe and all, but you know what character I love who no one talks about? Edith.
She was just a mentally ill girl. Her (much older) husband, who she hardly ever saw, was always either busy with “unnatural experiments” or was away with his occultist friends. Her parents, not taking her seriously, got her diagnosed with “mild hysteria” and treated with lithium. She died before the whole transformation Caul went through. Even if he hadn’t turned into the fish monster and never returned, she still would have killed herself.
She’s so tragic and idk why no one ever talks about her :(
