I’m going to make the dress myself, buy the contacts and do the makeup- but should I go w/ a fifties look (dress & hair) to match Eddie’s aesthetic?? like should i roll w/ pincurls and longer, wavy hair to hit that aesthetic (& would it go w/ the whole murkoff variant look lIKE?? *sweats loudy*)??? what style of dress would best suit the gross murder mom?
Question; Why don't you call Fem!Eddie Edna? You know, because it's the female form of Edward/Ed/Eddie
Honestly, Eddie is both a male and female name so there is no real reason to change the name. However I don’t think Eddie is a very lady like name. And now that I’m changing it I might as well go a bit further and go with Edith instead of Edna. Edna just doesn’t sound right in my ears (maybe because in Denmark it is what your great great grandmother is called) and Edith does. There is no better explanation for my choice of name. Sorry if you had hoped for something awesome
There are all these awesome fEddie – the bride fanart. And it makes me so happy and sad at the same time. Because they all have sidecuts and they all look amazing and no matter how hard I try, I can’t abandon my idea of my Edith’s hair being something like this:
Why will my brain not let me join the sidecut bride headcanon, why? D:
"When guard Laura picked the wrong day to pick up Edith."
The corporation was fucking genius!

How do you make a lot of crazy women cooperate? You make them think that they have a special buddy, one that will help you, one that you do not want to lose. Of cause her gender was an important factor. Several of the patients who would rip the male guards to pieces like wolfs, became soft lambs in her company. Then there was Laura's establish role as ‘the good cop’. She was always the one to give the patients extra sweets or other silly things like that. She was always patience, always caring and never the one to take them to the experiments.
There was some who did not trust her, she was never sure if they where paranoid or wise. Not that Laura would ever hurt them. But there seemed to be some logic behind being skeptic about the one person in this hellhole who acts different. Luckily the patient she was about to bring to one of the doctors trust her.
She knocked on the door with the back of her hand, giving the patient the illusion of privatize “Miss Gluskin, I’m coming in now.” It would be ‘Miss Gluskin’ for now and later when the patient was feeling better, she would ask Laura to call her Edith. They had had this dance more than once. She opened the door and closed it behind her as she walked in to the shaking mess in the corner of the room.
From the day Laura had learned that Edith, Miss Gluskin, the patient, whatever she was supposed to call the crazy killer in front of her, was 46 she had been wondering how the broken woman managed to look so young and pretty much healthy. Many of the other patients psyche was so worn out that it showed physical. But Edith, it was no wonder that she had managed to lure as many men in as she had. Now however she looked both 50 and 5 at the same time, worn down by time but still a little hurt girl by heart.
“Miss Gluskin?” Laura’s voice was filled with patience and caring and everything she was supposed to be to these people. It was all this things from a distance. She was standing by the door barely trusting herself to blink. Any unwanted movement from Edith and she was ready to reach for either the door or her stun gun. And she was ready to use that weapon and lose her role, if she could not get out the door fast enough. The patient might partly look like a hurt little girl, but Laura was not about to forget the crazy killer part.
“I was being good, I was being so very good and they still …”
Laura was pretty sure that Edith was talking about what every happened in that machine, and not her actions just before that. That did not mean that Laura herself could not do it.
“I hear that you caused some trouble today.”
Edith finally looked up, her eyes all red. Laura waited for her to explain herself, but it never happened.
“You scared that poor computer tech with your outburst.”
She looked … hurt and then her glare lowered to the floor again. “I did not.”
“It is okay sweetie, I know that you didn’t mean to.”
When Edith did not continue, Laura took it upon herself to do so.
“Let’s talk about something else?” She offered a bright smile, but it was all for nothing as Edith still wasn’t looking at her.
“There has been some talk about redecorating the living room.” Still nothing. “How was the book I recommended? Did you like it?”
Once again Laura waited for her, but there was no response. It was not odd that Edith denied her action. The doctors would from time to time talk openly about their patients, and Laura had learned that Edith denied everything about her past. It was also normal that she would be depressed after a little trip down memory lane, but Laura had always been able to turn it around. Start a new topic and Edith was sure to turn around and once again be her happy and chatty self.
“Edith, sweetie, I’m worried about you.”
To tell the truth Laura had a very educated guess at what was wrong. This was all because of that stupid computer tech. Edith must have seen someone who stuck out, who was not a doctor or a guard or anything else Edith had been in contact with here before. It was an outsider and not another torturer or bystander; it was someone who would never let this happened to another human being. Or so it had seemed because there had been no help. Realization had hit her hard. No matter whom they where, no one would ever come save her.
Or at least that was what Laura thought. Sometime she almost felt sorry for the poor bastards. Sure, most of them had done unspeakable things. But this treatment was not humane.
“Edith” She had hoped that using her first name had some effect, that was not the case, but it seemed odd to return to ‘Miss Gluskin’ now. “I hate to see you like this.” That and the woman was so much easier to deal with when she was happy.
“You care?” Edith was slowly raising her head.
“Of cause I do.” She had barely finished before Edith sent her one of her cheerful smiles.
“Why don’t you come over here then?” There was something in Edith's smile that Laura could not place, or did not want to.
“Because the rules say I can’t. If I do it for you, then I have to break the rules for everyone, even those who might hurt me.” An often used little lie, making it about how everyone else is to blame here. Just overlook that fact that Laura had no interest to become the first female victim of this killer. You could never know what they might have gotten their hand on and hidden in here.
The light suddenly blinked, causing her to jump.
“What the hell was that!”
Her glare switched between Edith and the door, like she would be able to see trough it at some point. Shit, she had to come down. If every little thing was going to scare her, then this would be an even harder job. Fuck. She really needed a leave.
Then she could hear movement which turned into yells, which turned into screams.
“What the hell is going on here?” Was that fear in her voice?
And then she could hear her world shatter, the sound of all the doors opening by them self.
Laura tried so hard not to let out a cry as caring but very, very firm hands start to move over her neck and arm. As a body pressed itself against her back. As a voice speak low and seductive into her ear.
