I bet Soldier 76 has trouble eating tough foods. Sometimes it stretches his scars, or in the case of his more severe jaw injuries it can cause them to rupture if he isn't careful. It's worse if it's difficult to swallow. His throat, I'll bet you anything, was messed up to hell in his whole jaw injury. The food he used to love, the comfort food like hamburgers and home cooked meals just aren't worth the discomfort outside of special occasions. Half his diet at this point is just protein shakes, coffee, and anything soft and easy to chew. You know he isn't healthy anymore. Someone please give dad a hug, he's so sad.
