I have this headcanon that Andrew always wears brightly patterned socks under all those black clothes, like his own inside joke. No one can see them tucked inside his combat boots so the brighter the better. His favorites are neon pink with lime green winged books.

(Once he’s in on the secret, Neil buys a pair with fluorescent orange fox faces. Andrew scoffs but is secretly amused by the little pointy ears on the ankles.)
