Between these two and myself, had 101 years of bookbinding experience in the shop yesterday. It is such a gift when mentors show up to help you through the end of a huge project, no questions asked (90 books knocked out, for a radical first: PASSINGS is fully bound ahead of being sold out). I'm involved in enough mentoring myself to know what a gift it is to have dedicated students in the next generation call on you, so I'm just holding on to this big ol' grin of gratitude.
