These images are my own photographs that I have taken during this last year. Some are of me without makeup and the others have been from walks during lockdown. I wanted to use my own work as well as photos from the internet to create these mirrored images. I used PS Express to create all of these mirror effects and also editing them.

Hey TattooedSiren, what kind of ink have you got?

Well, I feel like I should start off by saying that I was TattooedSiren before I got my first tattoo. That's not actually where my username comes from. :O)

But I have four tatts:

A celtic cross on the right side of my lower back

A four leaf clover on my inner left foot, just under the anklebone

'steal me away' on my inner left wrist

'3&' on the top of my right foot, just under the toes

The cross I got when I was 19 and it represents faith. I was about 22 when I got the four leaf clover. Ever since I was a kid I said they were the only two I wanted. Famous last words. LOL.

The 'steal me away' are song lyrics by Dave Matthews Band (but variations on the phrase can be found in some other fave lyrics and quotes). I got that tattoo in New York when I was 26. (it's the only tattoo I semi-regret - I dont regret what it is or where it is, only that the guy doing it was crap and it doesn't look how I wanted).

The '3&' tattoo I got with my two sisters last year. We all got the same design, just in different places. The '3' represents the three of us, and the '&' represents our surname (our last name starts with 'and' - well, mine does, both my sisters are married now but you get the idea).

I want to get my fave Goethe quote tattooed somewhere, but it's quite long and I'm not sure where. If I was skinny I'd get it on my ribs (near my heart). I've pondered getting it on my forearm, but after the other text tattoo I'm wary of having it somewhere so obvious in case it doesn't look perfect. The only other place I've thought about is on my left shoulderblade. So yeah, I'm still in the thinking about it stage. I like to marinate on my tattoo ideas for a long time so I can be certain it's what I really want.
