I’m happy to finally share my 3D art work, Dancing Queen

To commemorate the release of the Duviri Paradox, Warframe's latest major update, I was invited by Warframe to create a unique art piece using a life-sized 3D-printed replica of the Duviri Paradox Mask. Durviri Paradox has been such an inspiration for me since its initial announcement back in 2019. I never imagined that one day I would have the opportunity to actually hold in my hands and decorate a life size version of the mask. The monochromatic, surreal landscape and the mysterious Drifter wearing the highly stylized mask were so iconic and fired up one's imagination. My goal for this project was to distil some of those unforgettable elements into the mask design. The style I used is an amalgamation of Duviri aesthetics and Venetian carnival mask. The mask is divided vertically into two halves which symbolize opposing forces as well as Drifter’s change of fortune. The left side of the mask represents Dominus Thrax and his minions while the right side represents Drifter and their allies. Warframe's eye catching and memorable visual style is an amazing source of inspiration for me as an artist. With its frequent updates and very generous free to play model, I still enjoy playing this game with family and friends old and new even after so many years.
