PLANNING // INITIAL MIND MAP
26.1.2018
BRIEF THREE.
After having a look at the brief template provided to us, I have done a mind map considering some of the things that are mentioned within the brief example. I have also started thinking about some of the things I would like to achieve from this brief. By doing this mind map I am hoping it will also give me some information that I can include into the brief, so that I have a formal written brief that I can refer to throughout this project.
From doing this mind map I have also started to think about some themes / topics that I can produce my magazine based on. This has then led me into what type of research I need to do, to be able to achieve the themes that I am thinking about producing.
The next step is to finalise my brief for this project.

Again looking at influences, I came across a piece of work by my hero Veronica Ditting, I had know idea she was behind this piece of work. I have been looking at this for a while on Pinterest and i found out today through a very length hour or two on the internet trying to find out who did it. Low and behold it is Veronica Ditting.
Publication for Architectural Practise ‘Office Winhow’ in 2012.
Type of Design: Editorial
Designed By: Veronica Ditting
I love this piece of work because of the type of unusual and very well executed binding method, it seems to be printed like a A4 leaflet and stapled to the final page is a booklet this is a beautiful, simple and cheap way of printing. I love the fact that Veronica has kept it about the work inside of the publication, they layout is very simple and using elegant type for the text hat describes about the work of ‘Office Winhow’
This is an influence I want to use to keep costing and timing down to print my dissertation down which is nearly done ek so exciting I’m really happy with what I am writing and best of all having a great time doing it, I don’t see it as a chore.
