Your first three tasks for this week are as follows:

Start your RVJ, research inspiring editorial / print designers - annotate and critically reflect on your findings

Create a mood board for your ideal magazine

Task 1 – Type and Layout – As per the brief attached, using the dummy copy assets provided, create a few page layouts in InDesign. Play with the arrangement, scale, size of the elements and don’t forget negative space is your best friend. Push your design until you have a spread that you are happy with. Royalty free images can be found in this folder on teams http://tiny.cc/czgzuz  – or alternatively find or create your own.

Inspiration

These are great editorial magazines that I found when I went to eat at Five Guys. And I like the fonts and how they played with texts. I’m hoping I will try something like that in my architecture magazine.
