today's story revolves around 𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘰'𝘴 𝗮𝗳𝗰 𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱, just steps away from completing a cinderella story turnaround from relegation to winning the premier league. the fans eagerly await the return of 𝙟𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙚 𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙩, who was raised by city and played in this stadium from 2015 through 2020, when he left for reality television. 𝘱𝘦𝘱 𝘨𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘢'𝘴 men are always well-prepared, i expect a nail biter of a game... let's see how this one plays out.

known as the irish ʀᴏʏ ᴋᴇɴᴛ [ not for his playstyle, but for his attitude ], pádraig "paddy" o'gara played centre back for man city for 16 seasons, from 2005 to 2021. he earned 33 caps for ireland in that time, including scoring a rare goal against italy. labeled a favourite of manager ᴘᴇᴘ ɢᴜᴀʀᴅɪᴏʟᴀ, paddy was the sort of teammate to always have an open ear for younger players, to welcome them onto the team, to teach them when they needed to be taught, and defend them against opposing players when necessary. he's rare to smile, rare to laugh, but quick to lend a shoulder to cry on. he's an excellent cook (and an even more excellent baker) - jamie absolutely swears by his colcannon and apple cake. jamie has kept contact with him even through paddy's retirement and return to ireland.
