So this fanmix was made before the latest version of the demo came out (I made this in March 2024), but I feel like it still fits into the general vibes of their past (and hopefully future) relationship.
Although I now wonder if the player one&two rings are still canon or not. It's the type of cringecute shit I expect from a couple of high schoolers on the baby's first serious relationship while being in a weirdly intense competitive super niche field.
It does feel a bit weird to upload this before an official MC intro post though, I will say. I am kinda waiting to see the semi-canon MC info but at this point, I have accepted that most of my MCs will remain semi-canon too because quite a few of their info I saw fit to them does not fit into the canon material. Then again, I feel like that's the general consensus with most IF MCs.
So the flow of the songs' contents doesn't make sense because I am not a fanmix person, I kinda just vibe? Much respect to people who do meticulous fanmixes/playlists that follow a theme and rhythm and timeline because my approach to this has been like that caffeine-addicted kid from Encanto going nuts with hammers at the end of the film. The POVs are also all mixed, because as I said, this is based on vibes instead of any coherence.

I'm a point-and-click, interactive fiction, and puzzle video games person, I don't vibe with racing or action games, so I based the appearances on research instead of first-person material at hand
Lane and MC's now-in-limbo canon little "Player 1-Player 2" rings are the inspiration behind the styling here
On the top left corner, the numbers "292023" are supposed to represent what I believe to be the date the very first post of the game was published, although now for the life of me, I can no longer remember if it's September 2nd, 2023 or February 9th, 2023 because I cannot remember if I used American or European date format (my guess is the September date because I grew up on and still use European date format, and the characters are British/English/Europe-based in terms of location)
Since MC is the one to break up with Lane, I symbolized them as the "LOCKED" character
I was originally gonna put MC as P1 but I remembered they were given the P2 ring so I kept it this way: you can interpret the image as being in Lane's POV with MC being "locked" from him for the moment
