I cried today

me and my nerds went to see a play at the edmonton fringe festival because it had a friend we made at animethon (das u oliver) and the play had great songs and everyone in the show was great, but i cried because i heavily, HEAVILY identified with the character Trenton, (for reference the play is called my boyfriends girlfriend) and trenton is a transman in the play and just the way they described dealing with dysphoria, and misgendering, and coming out and just everything was spot on and it just hit really hard as a transwoman, it was just amazing and i just wanted to say that, because the play was super amazing and wonderful and it was an emotional roller coaster for me and i'm glad to have seen something so wonderful, thank you to the cast and crew and thank you Oliver for the invite :)

Edmonton Fringe has come and gone. Rough start. Small opening house. Tech flubs. Then generous hosts and friends. Half our run sold out. Words of praise from artists I respect. Five stars in the Journal. Shenanigans with friends. Processing. Healing. Laughing. I saw the Northern Lights. I felt like maybe I really am an artist and not just a hack pretending to be one. I felt a lot of things. It was a really good festival for Mars and for me.

k so i'm in line for God is a Scottish Drag Queen rn and my show ended just like and hour and a half ago so people who were at American Idiot are here and like 4 people have recognized me this is weird
