Edmonton Arts Council: Arts Marketing Workshop Series (November 4th, January 20, February 10) The Edmonton Arts Council and TIX on the Square are pleased to partner with Bottom Line Productions to present this Arts Marketing Workshop series. Targeted at small/medium arts organizations, as well as individual artists, these workshops are designed to inform and inspire, and share best practices in key aspects of marketing and promotion of the arts. Introduction – TIX on the Square | Promotions Tool Kit
Monday November 4, 2013 7pm – 9pm Kerr Room Prince of Wales Armouries 2nd Floor, 10440 108 Avenue
In this session, participants will receive a brief overview of the services offered by TIX on the Square, and the new Promotions Tool Kit developed for TIX clients. The Promotions Tool Kit is designed to provide additional resources to help participants build comprehensive promotional plans to help foster audience growth. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in speed-mentoring sessions with leading voices in arts promotion, including representation from the fields of arts marketing & publicity, media, graphic design, and print production.
Not-for-profit and rooted in the community, TIX on the Square is Edmonton’s Arts & Culture Concierge. Owned and operated by the Edmonton Arts Council, TIX connects audiences with the opportunity to live local – supporting arts and artistic works throughout the city. TIX on the Square’s front-line-staff and online platforms play an important role in promoting your product to the public.
