She has no preference between night and day! She usually prefers sun over rain and definitely summer over winter!
🥝 What does a bad mental health day look like for your OC? Walk us through it with them. What kind of things can help them out of this slump and what kinds of things comfort them when they start to feel like this?
Illya is a chronic stepford smiler. She’d often attempt to just go about her day pretending that nothing is amiss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t on more serious days. When it gets a little too hard for her to handle, she excuses herself from others and isolates herself to calm down. She tries to distract herself by doing other things, but if she’s too overwhelmed she’d just end up curling up and hiding somewhere. If she’s married to Alphinaud and they have their own house, she goes to her special little room Alphinaud commissioned specially for her. The space is tight, filled with flowers and bottled water but the closed in space feels comforting to her. She also refuses to cry in front of anyone other than people she is completely comfortable with.
Usually if she gets too overwhelmed to the point of self-isolating, time is all that can really help her calm down. She appreciates the company of friends and family, especially Alphinaud. But most of the time, she prefers to deal with anxiety attacks and extreme bouts of sadness either alone or only with a select few people. Being in a crowd overwhelms and frustrates her.
🍊 What is your OC’s favourite meal? Snack? Dessert? Drink? Any reasons behind this besides liking how it tastes? What is your OC’s most hated food? Stuff they can’t stand to eat or drink?
Specialty spicy stew cooked with her most infamous black blossom peppers! She has yet to meet a person who is able to withstand the heat of her stew. Since most of her friends can’t stand even the smell of it, she doesn’t cook it very often. She’s quite partial to baked goods like bread, pastries and tarts.. especially if they have fruit. She loves cooking, baking and decorating desserts though she doesn’t have a terribly huge sweet tooth. Her favorite drink is some variant of a floral tea.
Illya’s not a very picky eater, so honestly she wouldn’t really refuse to eat anything unless it’s inedible. She has very refined tastes and has high standards when it comes to the taste of food, but she’d still eat something she considers to be mediocre just because she doesn’t want to waste food. She does however hate Sharlayan food, and she’s made it her life mission to cook as many meals as it takes for Alphinaud to forget the taste of Archon loaf.
She grew up on a farm, which explains her love for vegetables and fruit. Her spice tolerance on the other hand.. defies all explanation.
