Smash Bros Demo

So. Cause I was a platinum member of Club Nintendo I got 4 download codes for the Super Smash Bros for 3DS Demo today. I redeemed mine and offered one to my friend, Tony, cause he just moments before I got the demo, was complaining about how he hadn't gotten one.

I then offered one to another friend, but his 3DS is out of commision at the moment, so instead he recommended I give it to my sister. So I go to do that, but she gives me shit cause she thinks it's dead and to just get the demo later. So I get angry and sit down and basically vent to my mom about it. Then she says "Well why don't you put it on mine? >8(" And I'm kinda taken aback- She rarely ever likes the games I do, so it was weird. I'm like "Okay sure, I guess, I've got an extra anyway." And redeem it on her 3DS. 

Later I'm talking to my other friend, who I had first offered the demo code to, and I tell him about how I put it on my mom's 3DS and he comments that she'll probably never play it and I should have not wasted it. So I shrug and half agree cause that's totally a thing she does with games.

So then I go out to dinner with my mom cause my sister went out to dinner without us and she wanted to go out too cause she felt left out, and we're talking and stuff.

While we're waiting for the food I pull out my 3DS and start playing the demo a little bit, showing it off to my mom, and she seems interested and like "Oh cool :o" when showing her some of the characters in it. I ask her about why she wanted the demo on her 3DS and she says "Well, I wanted it so I could practice for when we get the one for the Wii U, so I can play with you and your sister and not suck at it." 

I was so touched. My mom loves us so much she wanted to get better at the game so she could play with us. This made my day so much, she's the best.

Palentine's Day

Gonna be hangin' out with some friends for Palentine's day tomorrow/today. Sadly enough, I'm the only single one. :(

So. I downloaded Petit Computer on my 3DS last night. I spent some time screwing around with it and whatnot, and I really like it. The samples were really well done and I'm excited about the possibilities this presents to me.
