happy friday i officially have a 💞 girlfriend 💞 🥰❤️💖💝💕

i am fairly certain im just a "so what are we" conversation away from having a girlfriend hehe

#we have been hanging out and having sleepovers almost every single day for a month #her parents know abt me #i am very very very happy and comfortable 😌

finding out there's a norwegian cross country skier with the surname "stavås skistad" which literally translates to "polehill skiplace" was the highlight of my week actually

#genuinely thought it was a joke first time i saw her name

i am SO happy with my new boss. where every other boss ive had just gives me feedback like "good job! you're doing great!" and nothing else, my new boss is more "good job! you're doing great! here's how you can evolve and do even better." and ive missed that in my previous leaders SO much

new job position is going splendid thanks for asking not busy in the slightest !

#worst part abt this is that this is my calendar AFTER rejecting a fourth meeting taking place in the same time frame

we're presenting our strategy with a 30 minute presentation tomorrow in front of the leadership group and i found out yesterday that one of my group members is hospitalized with systemic inflammation and the other is sick with a hefty flu. and so out of my initial group of four, where one also handed in his notice a couple months ago, theres only me left to present 🙃 i stress cried SO much yesterday.

attempted to make an analogy at a workshop meeting at work yesterday with the ceo, the development manager from hr, my middle aged posh process owner colleague and the sleaziest salesman type joining in on teams with his $50k rolex on full display. i went "so its like- have you guys ever played dungeons and dragons? 🤓" and was fully met with this

#in my DEFENSE. the ceo had just pulled out the concept of 'hero's journey' and mentioned lotr #we were workshopping our powerpoint presentation for the prrviously pentioned talent program that is coming to a head next week lol

finally took our company's health insurance in use and requested help to find a therapist who specializes in eating disorders.............

#no overtime pay but for a 15% increase and flexible hours..... thats a yes #new goal with new pay is paying off the entirety of my car loan in a year. which i can absolutely manage if i forgo lifestyle inflation lol

love the idea of bats using commercial gyms for their basic strength workouts actually. like bruce refuses to buy a hack squat because hes old fashioned and doesnt see the point when they already have perfectly good functioning squat racks so the kids do their workouts at a local gym and become local legends because almost all of them have insane sleeper builds and do weird exercises no one else have ever seen or heard of. also WHY is that guy scrolling on his phone perched on TOP of the cable machine??
