A huge Thank You to Ms. Arielle and @tcclassical TCCA for allowing me the opportunity to come in and share Brandon’s Story! I tell you when I think about the Dr telling Todd and I that Brandon has cancer “leukemia” to be exact. I was in complete denial. The type of cancer CML. If you were diagnosed with that in 2000 it was a death sentence😥! 2001 TKI’s (chemotherapy meds) were introduced. Praise God for Gleevec. I remember listening to a story that CML Leukemia was the “good cancer to have” just saying I don’t know of any “Good Cancer”!! Thank you again to the amazing 6th graders that I had the please of meeting! Remember to always have compassion and empathy for others you don’t know their story. #cmlife #educatingthestudents #tcca #thankyou #brandonsatory #cancersucks #greatthingsbchsf @bcoopersmiles https://www.instagram.com/p/B792S48AT3W/?igshid=5v5o5dfeapjb
