This has put me in such a great mood, excited even when I went shopping and I have discovered my new favourite Staionary Shop! I had to stop myself buying things...

Wonder if maybe we could do something similiar next year..later in the year? Favourite children's book, Bookmarks.. (I'm bias I love books and bookmarks).

Hi everyone who participated in the #education pen exchange!

I am loooooooving the pictures of everyone's pen packages! I'm glad this worked out so well!

For those of you who haven't received anything from your pen friend yet, please send me a message or email (whyhellokatherine at gmail dot com) and let me know. I don't mind sending out reminders to double check! I can't guarantee anything (I wish I could!) but an extra reminder couldn't hurt, right? I tried to vet all of the submissions to active tumblrs, but unfortunately you never know. I'll do my best!

Pen Exchange!

Hello dear #education,

It appears that many of us are quite pen obsessed, so what better way to celebrate that than with an #education pen exchange?

Would you like to participate? The rules are simple: fill out the questionnaire below and email it to me at whyhellokatherine at gmail dot com by Monday, February 3. I will do all of the matching up and let you know who your pen buddy is a few days after (you may or may not get the same person who has you, and you can either be anonymous or reveal your identity--totally up to you!).

What do you do? Read through your buddy's answers to the questionnaire and send the wonderful gift of pens to their specified address. You can include a card, candy, other school supplies, whatever else you'd like--just make sure pens are a part of the package! When you receive your pens, write a quick thank you using them, take a pic, and create a post with the tag #educationpenexchange. Ok? Ok!

Do you need to be a teacher to participate? Absolutely not! As long as you're in the #education community, you're legit.

Here's the #education pen exchange questionnaire:
