Finally! India's education policy updated after 34 years!! Did you know the current Education policy was adopted in 1986? These are my favourite highlights: - 360 degree holistic progress card of child - Mother tongue to be a medium of instruction till 5th grade - Coding to be taught from class 6 - 10 bag-less day a year to learn from real world - Flexibility in choosing subjects. One can learn any combination they like, for example fashion + psychology - FEE CAPS!!!! - Integration of technology at every step of the process Even though the entire policy will take a decade to come in action, we are on a good start. This makes me wish to go school all over again! I dropped out of college because I wasn't getting real value out of it. With this new policies, I hope the newer generation get to learn whatever the heck they want to learn.
