Stupid Cold :/

Have been battling a cold since last Friday and I still have a terrible sore throat and cough today. Laying in bed at 5:30am I wrestled with the internal battle of to go in or to call in sick. I decided I was well enough to go in, and I knew many of my students have turned a corner since benchmarking. 

The students were so sweet and empathetic today.  When I had a horrendous coughing fit one of my students patted me on the back. Several students told me they wished I would get better. One sweetie pie kept telling me it was too bad that I was sick and that he wished I wasn’t sick because it was no fun to be sick.

Ended up being very glad I decided to go into work.
