There was no CC open house activities, carnival or even refreshments. This year’s Edusave awards were given out in much smaller groups with staggered timings. As in previous years, the Edusave Award Ceremony for the upper secondary recipients was held in a dialogue format. Students had three options to ask questions: Kee Chiu, passing mike and IG Ask Me A Question. We had many questions that day. Thanks for your active participation. There were props in different languages for last week’s North East CDC-Tampines North CCC Edusave Merit Awards Ceremony. This family chose all four official languages, saying that’s multilingual Singapore. 🙂 However, they didn’t understand the Malay and Tamil text. Congrats to the 294 post-secondary students on receiving their Edusave awards last weekend. As usual, we had a dialogue which I thoroughly enjoyed. Hope they do too. 🙂 A parent was kind enough to send me her feedback: Hi Mr Baey. I enjoyed yr dialogue session on 6th January. U have made great effort to mingle with the young adults. U tried speak youngster kind of singlish. My husband & i were laughing at our seats. I like yr humor. 1st) Then the rest not stress laa? 2nd) I am the age of yr parents, so I need to put on my reading glasses. 3rd) You are not forced to take photo with me. 4th) Your friend sabotage u. This year the certificate well protected with compliment of a hard plastic.
