Sanditon season 1
Regency boy band. 😂😍
Oh, Esther. You have no idea what I endured before I came here. And you have no idea what I am prepared to do to ensure I stay. So you would do well to crawl away, and take your poor silly brother with you, if you don't want me to ruin him
Definitely the most interesting "triangle" I've ever seen in a period drama

Jack Fox in Sanditon (s2) as Edward Denham
“Ask Esther, ask Clara, ask my son”- THIS IS THE MOST FASCINATING EDWARD HAS BEEN ALL SERIES
This to me is the first real form of recognition of the PAIN HE HAS CAUSED........it’s not the redemption that people are used to....but the fact he did this(CRUEL AS IT IS)...it was a selfless act. Recognizing the women he has hurt in his life...will he be better....I do not know. Could he have been better with Augusta? probably...Alexander was offering him a chance with that. But even still Augusta’s life would be gone, and he realized that the second she praised him and he couldn’t do the good in love act anymore.
the edward girlies with a priest kink are barking right now
Where’s all the Sanditon people at? Because I have thoughts, particularly about Edward Denham. (Beware that I’ve seen all episodes except for the last one, so while I want to avoid series finale spoilers, there will be partial s3 spoilers below)
Jack Fox is playing that character brilliantly this season. There’s some subtlety to his character arc that’s really impressive and it’s taken me by complete surprise. Like in ep 5, you can absolutely see that even as he’s taking Augusta away and he’s following through with his plans, he hates himself for it. And you watch his face as Augusta is sticking up for him to her Mr Colbourne, and you can just see that he’s sick inside at the idea that this sweet and innocent young woman genuinely believed that he was a good man. And then the sheepish return to his aunt and the way he insisted that he’s incapable of feelings… ooh we see the sheen in your eyes, sir!
I can honestly say I don’t know where they’re going to go with his character or with any possibility between him and Augusta, but no doubt Edward is absolutely the most surprising side plot in this show. Cannot wait to see how they bring things to a close for him in the final episode!! 👀
