Lynn Ruth Miller: “Comedy in LA is very different from British comedy…”
In yesterday’s blog, Lynn Ruth Miller gave an insight into comedy industry life in Los Angeles. How excited are you for college? Have you found a Christian community at Cal already?
More excited for college than I am for this chicken leg if that says anything. I have! My small group leader at Identity retreat actually goes to Berkeley and he uh, introduced me to the uh, Falling water or whatever spring water falling tears I don't know I forgot the name but yeah.
What has God been revealing to you in these final weeks of high school?
It's sometimes okay to ditch as long as you have the right mindset. Oh, and that the heart you go in with really affects how much God can work within you, so always be open!
What advice would you give younger peers in terms of keeping their faith up outside of the church environment?
Make sure to keep yourself accountable if you don't have an accountability partner! If you don't think you can do that, become accountability partners with someone. A lot of Christianity is about discipline, since we're pretty lazy creatures.
What is your favorite Bible verse at the moment?
Favorite Bible verse would probably have to be Psalms 23:4. It has a good message and good imagery.
Favorite Christian song at the moment?
Don't have one. Usually I do. But right now I'm at that point where I treat them all equally because I'm a fair person.
What do you think is the best talent God's blessed you with?
Why is talent singular in this question? I am a man of countless talents.
Do you give discounts to friends as a worker @ Forever21?
No, unless you're a true forever 21 shopper like me ya feel.
Who do you model your fashion off of?
The man in the mirror.
Does wearing a yellow top and blue bottom clash?
It really depends on what shade of blue and yellow we're talking about. But I mean hey, the Chargers made it work.
How much do you charge for handmade prom posters?
It's difficult to charge for my work because my work is priceless, so I just do it for free.
If you could live in the world of any fictional place where would it be?
I would probably live in the world of Calvin and Hobbes because I connect with Calvin and I want a tiger friend.

The Adventures of Greg and Ed - Props
I'm creating a new series for Channel 101. Here are some photos of the props we're using .
'Ed's Spiral Piece by the English artist Edwin Li appears to be a mix of 1930s Hollywood musicals, Constructivism, a dose of Walt Disney and a dash of irony. However, the film was created using so-called 'video feedback' resulting from a loop in which a camera is pointed at a monitor to which it is connected. This is comparable to audio feedback, which occurs when a microphone comes to close to a speaker. Li edited the raw footage and combined it with music to create a harmonious audio-visual experience that sweeps the viewer along in a story without end.'
