For reasons unknown to her, Elise had gone to the oceanside. It was unusual for her to do so, she hardly knew how to swim, not to mention that she highly disliked the way the air felt around there. But today she had felt an attraction towards it, like she felt she had to be there, even if it was only for a short period of time.Surprisingly, the area was rather empty, a few people here and there but nothing grand. The fewest she’s ever seen, anyway.
Green eyes locked upon a small hill, the owner beginning to wonder if the view of the ocean would look better from higher up there than from down here in the sand. Either way, it wouldn’t hurt to find out- and if it wasn’t anything special, at least she got a small workout. She huffed a bit as she made her way up the hill, not having expected it to be so steep but not willing to turn back yet. When she finally made it up, she was surprised to see a young boy, maybe around her age, sitting there. She hadn’t noticed him before but he seemed to have been there for quite awhile.
The boy must’ve heard her footsteps-or heavy breathing because he turned his head to face her, startling her a bit. “Oh, I’m sorry… I’m not disturbing you, am I?” She couldn’t see the ocean from where she was at but she didn’t dare move until the boy spoke.
