So I went and saw Kubo and the Two Strings yesterday

And it was beautiful and moving, and sad and hopeful, and I really loved it.

But all I kept thinking about was how cool an AU batfamily fic based on it would be. 

Ra’s kills Bruce, and Talia takes a baby Damian into hiding. 

Years later, Ra’s finds them, but instead of sending Damian to find the ancient armor, Talia sends Damian to find his four siblings in Gotham. 

Hilarity ensues. 

Or I’m just a silly dork. That’s possible too.
