Hello!

I want to ask about Leo, Alejandro's father, Leonardo Vargas. I want to know more about this man, his relationship with Ale, his relationship with Rodolfo, how he got his protective nature, whatever you have on him. I am rattling the bars of my enclosure for even a few crumbs about this man.

Also, in a hypothetical situation where Rodolfo's parents tried to take him back again, and maybe were even almost successful, do you think Leo would beat their asses or just threaten them veeeeery strongly?

Leo is my fav oc born from the Teen!Ghost AU, I just don't know how to use him in other things yet! Infodump on him!

Leo is ex cartel, met his wife while traveling before they get married quick (whole relationship was at least a year) before they moved back to Leo's home city, Las Almas. They had Ale the very next year and his mom wasn't happy with how fast things were going. Leo was very much in the moment and did not like to slow down, that included his work with the cartel. A drive by shooting targeted at him was the last straw before his wife couldn't do it and left. And she left Ale (who was three at this time) because she wasn't ready to be a mom, especially not to the son of a cartel hitman. After she left Leo turned everything around. Alejandro was his whole world, and he didn't want to leave his son alone without any parents.

He made the decision to leave the country with Ale, leaving on sort of good terms with the cartel. His entire focus was on Ale and giving him the best life possible through legal work that did not involve him taking lives. He turned to garage work and became a mechanic. Slowly Leo built a small business up and became a reputable business man. He has a trust set up for Ale, his son will be taken well cared of even long after he's gone.

The small hispanic community Leo came to eventually accepted him despite his past. Now he's very protective of them. His sister eventually moved to the community after Ale turned six to help give her brother more support. She opened a store with goods from home. Ale is a part-time worker there, though he would rather work with his dad.

Leo loves Rudy. He doesn't really understand him, but he loves him nonetheless and started learning what he can so he can support him better. All he cares about is that he's a good kid and did not stand for how his family treated him. He still has ties to the cartel and he will reach out to a couple of friends involving Rudy's parents if they try anything. He is a very strong man and is very familiar with how to cause bodily harm, he doesn't quite want to do that Though he wants to leave that part of his life behind, he will do whatever necessary to protect this kid. He helped Rudy with getting emancipated and didn't hesitate to offer a room for him. As far as he's concerned that's his kid now.

Leo is generally hard on Ale, but he never raises his voice at him. Sure, he gets stern and maybe a little mean, but he never yells. The most he's ever done is swat Ale on the back of the head for skipping school or thrown his shoe at him for trying to steal a cigarette out of his coat pocket. He loves his son and doesn't want him to end up like how he did. Ale, unfortunately for Leo, idolizes every part of him and does not understand really how dangerous his life used to be back then.

Leo takes Alejandro back to Mexico at least once a year to visit his grandparents and to keep in touch with his roots. Typically this is a summer vacation, and he plans on bringing Rudy with them next time they go.
