✨✨Matty and Vic kiss today and I am so ready!!✨✨

Jack was always the possessive type. It’s not like he could help it, he was just raised under the belief that if something was yours, don’t let anyone else take it away. Now he could share, on occasion, no problems with that at all. Unless, of course, what he was sharing wore suits, had adorable, bright eyes, smelled like vanilla and coffee beans, and was named Ianto Jones.
No way in hell would he ever be sharing that.
Jack, for the longest time, felt like he had taken Ianto for granted. He never quite realized just how cared for he was whenever he was with him. You’d think he would’ve gotten that. Ianto was almost never gone from his bed the next morning, like most people were, and if he was out of bed, he was still in the Hub, making a fresh pot of coffee for Jack to start the morning with. It had taken a while to finally get it through his own head that he was loved, by the most perfect man in all the world.
Now that they were engaged, Jack always did everything he could to let Ianto know he was appreciated and he was adored, and that Jack wouldn’t give him up for the world. He knew Ianto knew these things, (but he still reinforced the idea whenever possible), but some people didn’t seem to get that.
"Why did we even hire her…" Jack said, huffing angrily as he made a point of wrapping an arm around Ianto’s waist, pulling him as close as he could get.
When he felt Ianto’s arms around his neck, he looked back at him. He gave a sigh and ran one hand up his back, “I know that, but I still don’t like that everyone looks at you like she does…” He grumed.
In order for Ianto to have no idea just how much he was appreciated he'd have to be blind. Luckily that wasn't an issue; he had the best eye sight in his tiny group of friends. Every little thing Jack did for him Ianto took with open arms and a bright smile. He'd tried, several times, to convince the older man that some of the things he did weren't necessary. Of course everyone knew how those conversations ended. Each time they took place during work hours Ianto would leave Jack's office looking defeated. It wouldn't stay that way for long, however. As soon as he reached the coffee maker the goofiest smile crossed his lips. It was really happening, he'd always think to himself.
He was wearing a similar expression standing there in Jack's arms. He knew the man could get territorial but over him? When had that-- that must have been going on for quite some time, way before a ring came into the equation. A familiar tingling sensation ran up his back when Jack's hand started to move. The man holding him had the cutest expression when he got like this, only difference this time being that it was too cute. Ianto just had to lean forward and snag those lips for a few moments, which was exactly what he did. After he was done, and had pulled away, back into his position from before, his eyes remained on Jack's lips a second too long.
He finally had enough energy to lift his eyes, now looking into that beautiful shade of blue he'd grown to love so very much. Ianto distinctly remembered Jack dragging him out of the woman's eye sight that day. It brought another smile to his face remembering how protective his fiance had been that day. "You saw her, Jack. She's resourceful, knows her way around a cabinet, we need all the help we can get. Shall I go on?"
His hands moved to cup Jack's cheeks, leaning forward to press their foreheads against each other. "They may look, try flirting, but it's your engagement ring I've got on my finger. I plan on keeping it that way."
