OOF, what a song appeared on my list!

I can hear the lyrics clearly in this one, heck I always did. Pete's writing gets to my heart way too quickly, I'm telling you, but overall, this song is a beauty. First half feels like an introduction until the middle, where Keith starts drumming. This is where my favorite part starts!

But going to the lyrics, I have to go with four verses here. First being in the first half of the song:

Besides the lyrics being wonderful - dang it, Pete, dang it - they just seem to describe a person who's in need of love and care. I don't wanna make everything about Keith, but I can't fucking help it.

The first two verses are almost depressing in a way. Loneliness seems to seep through them, especially that love part. This part is repeated just before the next two verses, giving them somehow a whole meaning. The lonely guy seems to find a woman who can keep him in one piece. Stop him from doing anything stupid or from getting into stupid fights, keep him away from anything bad and care for him. Care very deeply even, the last two lines are a plea for some warmth:

And if I shiver, please give me a blanket Keep me warm, let me wear your coat

The warmth I would willingly give Keith if I could...
