i’m pretty sure kovacs is fundamentally incapable of complete trust. any envoy would be. the closest he gets is, notably, virginia viaduara, the woman who trained him to be an envoy.

aside from flat-out saying it (which he would, though not easily), he’d talk about some of the worst / most impactful times of his life. of particular interest within the trilogy are inennin, the events on sanction iv (epseically leading up to / aboard the martian ship), and sarah’s sachilowski’s death (and what kovacs did about it).

of those, he told viduara all about the third; which is how we know it happened at all..

I’m sure some of this has already been said but!!!

Vulcans not adhering to the gender binary because it’s not logical.

Vulcans being 100% accepting of trans individuals because the mind is more important than the body and if that is who you are, then your body does not matter ad there is no need to “prove it” because who would know you better than yourself?

Vulcans honestly not grasping transphobia or homophobia because it is illogical to discriminate against someone for something they cannot control. 

The majority of Vulcans being panromantic (simply because it is not logical to reduce the pool of potential mates) but not judging if someone happens to be another romantic identity/has a preference, because again, that is not something you can control.

The majority of Vulcans being asexual/grey-asexual outside of Pon Farr, but again not judging if someone happens to differ.

Vulcans never assuming anyone’s pronouns because there is no logical way to determine someone’s gender outside of asking.
