Duplex neighbor let me borrow his flashlight headband for when I’m out tonight delivering newspapers.
I appreciate it, but I’m not sure if I’ll use it. It’s just so damn bright and it’s going to be really noticeable in the neighborhood I’m going to be delivering at, because the place isn’t well lit. I don’t want to disrupt the neighborhood anymore than necessary.
Hm. I’ll bring it with me, but I’m taking my regular maglight with me too (I wanted a maglight a few years ago because it has a strong casing, which is good for if I ever need to swing it at someone/something for my self protection). Not sure which I’ll really use... :-/

(Mod: Well, there's a huge storm out right now and I'm more or less terrified out of my mind that the roof is gonna collapse on my head. Like, the wind is blowing down so hard making whistley shrieky noises I can hear the walls and stuff creaking and crackin. EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I think maybe the window will shatter from the sheer force of the wind... And it's also kinda busted so the cold air won't stop leakin into my room. Takin shelter under my bed now. TAT)

(Also, Twelve found out that it's pretty common to rip out your post thingys and use them for various things like boarding up holes on your house roof to beating anons to death with it should a killer run out of knives and such. Yeah... Twelve dressed up his/er post thing cuz why not.)
